Contact Lenses allow one to dispense with the weight of heavy glasses and have a wide cosmetic appeal. They are worn to correct vision, for cosmetic or therapeutic reasons. A wide variety of Contact Lenses are available to suit most budgets and lifestyle.
However it is important to note that an ill-fitting or poorly manufactured Contact Lens may lead to eye problems such as irritation and chronic red eye which may lead to long term problems.
Our Contact Lens service consists of two parts:
- Contact Lens Fitting:
Contact Lens fitting is a special examination of the cornea in which the optometrist measures the proper curvature, diameter and power of the Contact Lens to be fitted. The optometrist and doctor then guide the patient to choosing the appropriate lens.
- Session on Insertion, Removal and Care of Contact Lens:
New Contact Lens users must participate in a one-on-one instruction session in which they are taught and made to practice the proper insertion and removal of the lens and learn about the appropriate care of the lenses. We also provide practical tips to Contact Lens users.
- Ordering Contact Lenses:
Most Contact Lenses are delivered within 2-3 business days. Certain types of lenses may take longer.
